I created this catalog using InDesign and XML driven database. As price of gold can fluctuate dramatically in a very short period of time; xml allowed me to provide a live and very current information while distributing an easy to use format i.e. PDF which was searchable and easy to navigate. Although printing cost for a small quantity is not cost-effective, taking under consideration that with a few clicks I can print a wholesale catalog verse consumer catalog made it to an advantage.
